Meet the baker

My name is Araina Reuben and I’m the owner and cookie artist of Nice To Be Iced Cookies. I started making decorated cookies in 2014, when I received my first stand mixer as a Christmas gift. The first batch wasn’t very pretty. However, I was determined and obsessed to make them look better! I spent countless hours watching online tutorials and reading blogs, until I completely taught myself how to master the art of cookie decorating.

Along my journey, I’ve had the opportunity to make cookies for the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Duolingo! I was also selected to partake in a paid partnership with the “world leader in baking and decorating tools,” Wilton Brands. When I’m not making cookies, I’m working in finance at my day job or catching up on my favorite true crime documentaries.
